Again, it is difficult to determine to which tribe these people belong, but judgin by the yurt in the background, they may be Uzbeks. Josephine Powell had the advantage of being a woman and gaining access to the women and children to photograph. Note the apparently arid landscape in which these people have settled for some period of time.
