Outlook

It is always amazing to enter these temple complexes in India.   The expectation of what one might encounter is always high.  Leavingis another story, as one re-enters the “real” world, 
with many of the hassles that are a part of everyday life in India.  This idyllic view looking out
through the doors of the Samnathpur temple complex near  Mysore caught my eye alone, as noneof the other tourists there regarded it as a photo opportunity. India looks nearly as idyllic outside the temple doors as it is within, but as they say in Hindu texts, it is all “maya”, an illusion.
