Uzbek Jajim, Central Asia, late 19th/early 20th century, 5' 8" x 4' 15"

An interesting and unusual flat woven jajim from Central Asia. With a mulltitude of patterning sparsely ornamenting this lovely flat weave, the style is different than most of the jajims I have seen emerge from Central Asia.

The condition is good, with no holes or repairs, and all the colors are all derived from natural dyes.
