Zoroastrian Textile, Central Persia, 19th century, 3' 1" x 1' 10"

An extremely lovely fragment of a Zoroastrian textile from central Persia. It would have been originally a part of a woman's wedding costume. Composed of a very fine silk mounted on a silk ground cloth, this is an extraoririnary textile with blazing colors and good condition.
