Kurd Bag Face, W. Persia, 19th century, 1' 8" x 1' 4"
| A somewhat tattered but interesting example of Kurdish weaving from w. Persia. I particularly like the border with the green ground, an original embellishment that was never apparent at the opposite end. The condition is apparent in the photos, no repairs, a bit of surface wear and a bit of erosion on the ends, but a nice example and very reasonably priced @ $385 |
