Uzbek Embroidery, Central Asia, circa 1870, 7" x 3"
|
A lovely embroidery, probably the cuff to a small garment, possibly that of a child. The use of color and space is well handled even within this small format. The condition is good, with some minor corrsion in the black (not uncommon. The colors are outstanding including a clear yellow, green, orange and red. |
