Where Borders Bleed

Modern life is so trying
Too many burdens for a man to bear,
Tribal war, ethnic cleansing
So many crying, and no one cares
The powers that be, have drawn straight lines
The Brits, and French, and the US too,
Maps re-invented, in someone's free time
Does it mean, anything to you?

Where borders bleed,
Lives are shattered
Where borders bleed
Families are scattered, everywhere

Oil men making big plans
For enriching, their own lives
And to the poor man, not a dime will he loan
For a small farm, merely to survive
Nightmares flash, on the tv,
Bombs exploding, people dead ,
For higher ratings, and more money,
Tune in nightly, to see the streets run red

Where borders bleed,
Lives are shattered
Where borders bleed
Families are scattered
Where borders bleed
So much desolation
Where borders bleed
There's no salvation anywhere

It's not about, who's right or wrong
Its not about ,winning hearts and minds
Too much hunger, and too much poverty
We take our profits ,and leave 'em all behind

In the darkness, people cry out
Voices raised where there once was sun
Wishing pain on us in our world
For all the evil things we've done

Where borders bleed,
Lives are shattered
Where borders bleed
Families are scattered
Where borders bleed.
So much desolation
Where borders bleed
There's no salvation anywhere
